We just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Kwizeen and the team for making our Daughters 30th birthday the most memorable, magical evening which will be remembered forever.
The moment Marco stepped through our gates to see how Kwizeen could transform our garden into an unforgettable party experience, I put my trust in him after 5 mins.
Marco, Tony and all the team work all week building the outside bar ( which went down a storm) to erecting the party marquee. setting up lighting and sharing their expertise to make sure the event was successful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The night went on to be the most fabulous party ever. The food was outstanding, the service was out of this world. All the Kwizeen team should be proud of themselves for being so amazing.
If it wasn’t for Marco keeping everything in running order, I would of forgotten to light the birthday girls cake.

Marco, Tony and their team from Kwizeen catered for my 60th Birthday Party at home on Saturday 15th October, it was the first time we had had a party fully catered for and we can honestly say it was the best decision, Kwizeen did not disappoint at all. They were EXCELLENT.
Their attention to detail goes above and beyond. Taking coats as guests arrived, Timing when to serve the canapés (which were amazing, all our guests were very impressed the choice and taste). Timing when to serve the fish and chips also burgers (as some said the best fish and chips ever, delicious burgers) All the while serving drinks from the mobile LED bar that they set up a couple of days before. Clearing up the supper plates as they quietly moved around our house so unobtrusively.
It was a pleasure having Marco, Tony and their team in our home with us.
We can happily, highly and confidently recommend Kwizeen to anyone for any event. We are also looking forward to booking them again soon.

I called and spoke to the lovely Marco who came to do a site visit the next day with his son, I felt very comfortable with them both and I knew I wanted them to cater for the party so we booked it in . The bbq food was so delicious , all the guests were really impressed . They also provided the mobile bar service, making delicious cocktails and drinks . I can’t thank them enough for taking the stress of me so I could actually enjoy the party myself. So if your thinking of having a party or private event definitely call Kwizeen you won’t regret it !!

Kwizeen fully catered a three course meal for 30 guests, and travelled all the way to Kirby Stephen to do so. I set Marco a huge task by requesting a variety of sharing dishes and several tapas and desserts, rather than a standard three course meal. This required an incredible amount of organisation on Kwizeen’s part but they rose to the challenge and provided a fantastic range of dishes which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The serving staff were great and nothing was too much trouble, despite arriving at the venue to find that the cooking facilities were not really adequate. Tony and Marco had come well prepared and were able to provide everything they needed to ensure that everyone had a fantastic night. Thank you so much Kwizeen – you made the night a great success!

“Yet again fabulous food & fabulous service”
We asked Kwizeen BACK AGAIN to do the outdoor catering for our “Staff and Family Barbecue” and they certainly delivered in providing us an absolutely superb barbecue, again!
Everyone was very very impressed with all of it, the food was divine, so fresh, so tasty and plenty to around.
Pre-arranged menu choices were discussed with Marco prior to the event and I have to say he was very accommodating with our requests for vegetarian and simpler food for the younger guests, as well as the scrumptious various meats, kebabs and burgers Certainly a touch of class.
Tony and 2 more staff members worked efficiently and timely in cooking and serving food for over 60 guests.
Marcos (on the bar) worked so hard all-day and into the evening, he was accommodating, cheerful, funny and did a brilliant job.
The attention to detail, the organisation, the food itself and the all the team at Kwizeen made our staff and family barbecue so much more special.
Feedback from the staff was fantastic and ‘awesome’ was a popular word!
The organisation, effort and talent that had gone into our event obvious.

70th Birthday Garden Party Catering Staining ,Near Blackpool
We used Kwizeen for my 70th birthday party and I was highly impressed with every aspect of their service. My brother and sister in law had done the planning and had found them very helpful with good advice in the planning stages. They came a few days before the event, brought the tables and chairs and laid up the tables which looked very impressive. On the day itself they provided excellent service.
The food was second to none, something for everyone, cooked and prepared to a very high standard, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The quantity was amazing and there were lots of doggy bags for people to take home!! The guys were extremely pleasant and friendly before, during and after the meal. The whole thing was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend them with no reservations.

I cannot recommend Kwizeen enough. Marco and Tony went above and beyond to ensure the food and drink at our wedding was just perfect. From the first phone call enquiry they have both been organized and extremely prompt with their communication. They have gone above and beyond not just advising us on the food and drink but also table plans and even decorations! The food they provided for 120 people at our wedding in Cartmel was amazing and the guests all raved about both the quality and quantatity.
They did all this without a fixed kitchen at the venue. They listened to our brief and budget and then exceeded all of our expectations when they offered us a range of menu choices which we got to trial at their restaurant. Especial mention must also go to their waiting on staff who made sure that everyone that had dietary requirements were met and were so professional and friendly throughout (They also took some lovely photo’s on the day which we will treasure).My dad loves the company so much he is currently looking at organizing an event just so he can use Tony and Marco again. They are one of the most Honest,freindly companies that I have had dealings with ; That paired without standing food and service means that I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend and in fact I would actively encourage you to call them for any of your catering needs, from family Barbeque to an outside catering wedding.

‘Exceeded our expectations’
We wanted a change from the usual Christmas Party – packed venue with substandard food and packed bar – so this year’s staff Christmas party was held at one of our GP’s houses and the catering was provided by Kwizeen. We hosted a party for nearly 60 staff and from the first conversation with Marco he put our mind at rest, being informative, calm and confident providing lots of ideas and suggestions:- LED bar hire and fridge hire, Peroni on draft, and a huge menu choice of delicious hot and cold canapes – Mini Yorkshire Puddings, Roast Beef, Horseradish, Mini Burgers in baps with Cheese, Mini Fish and Chips, Dewlay Chilli Monster Cheese Won Tons, French Onion Tarts, Lemon and Rosemary Chicken, Filo Baskets, Smoked Salmon and Dill Roulade, Mixed Pepper Bruschetta – to name but a few and these were plentiful. Not forgetting the splendid desserts, mini fruit kebabs, mini ice creams, lemon meringue pie etc.
Marco and Tony attended the event and were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! They were accompanied by 2 members of staff and I have to say that the service and the quality of food presented was absolutely perfect.
Kwizeen exceeded everyone’s expectations at the party and we have had feedback from staff saying this was the best Christmas Party they have ever been to and I think they will be talking about it for a long time to come!

Communication throughout was excellent, price was very reasonable, reliability and flexibility with arrangements helped enormously and most important of all the food and service on the night was fabulous. Quantities were huge, all three menu choices were cooked to perfection and the desserts were delicious. To round it off, the clearing up was completely unobtrusive and did not intrude into the social goings on.
There is always a risk using outside caterers and no one needs hassle. Marco and Kwizeen provided easy, responsive service and great food – I have no negative comments at all! It’s not often these days that results live up to expectations, but they do with Kwizeen. The best recommendation is to say that I would absolutely trust Kwizeen with future outside catered events, a sentiment endorsed by many of our guests at the event.

We had a barbecue that consisted of a huge variety of meat and vegetarian options with accompanying salads, including potato salad, coleslaw and tomato and mozzarella salad.. This was followed by Marcos amazing dessert selection which included mini desserts, fruit kebabs and mini ice creams. Marco was professional to work with from the very first phone call. He met me at the venue, advised me and worked with me to provide a perfect event. Everything that was spoken about was put in writing and he always answered his phone and communicated well. Marco provided everything needed for the catering and cleared up afterwards. I would happily use Marco again and I would highly recommend him.

Fabulous Food and Fabulous Cocktails. Marco, Tony and their team did exactly as they promised- I was a guest at my own party!
Extremely professional from initial consultation to cleaning up the morning after. The huge selection of Canapés they cooked and served were delicious and the smoking cocktails were amazing.
Kwizeen provided the entire package from providing and setting up the bar with Peroni on draught, supplying the mood lighting and constant service throughout the entire night from their team. I even had furniture removal thrown in!
Highly recommended.

Dear Marco and Tony,
O would like to express my sincere thanks to you both for the fabulous food and service you provided for us recently.
For my 60th birthday I had wanted all my family together for the weekend and hired a beautiful home underley grange near Kirby Lonsdale. I also wanted caterers in to make it extra special, thankfully a few months previously I had been at a party where Kwizeen did the catering which was fantastic so I had no hesitation in wanting you to cater for us.
Marco was so helpful and accommodating with choosing the menu’s. Also had no issues in travelling from Blackpool to underley grange on 2 nights which I had been worried about.
On the Friday Tony presented us with an amazing hot buffet which he also very kindly served for us which was so lovely. Plenty of really tasty excellent main course and deserts were very quickly devoured.
Tony had a great sense of humour and my family enjoyed his company. He left the kitchen and dining room immaculate.
On the Saturday which was our main birthday celebration day, both Marco and Tony prepared and served us with a four course meal which was of the highest quality. Many of my guests commented that the food by far matched that of top end restaurants.
Thank you Marco and Tony at Kwizeen for making my birthday weekend very special and memorable.
I would not hesitate to recommend you, in fact two of my guests are planning to use you at events in the future.

Linen,cutlery,glassware,lighting and floral arrangements were all provided. Tony was impeccable, he kept the glasses well and truly topped up. Canapés from heaven and a magnificent “Trio Ensemble ” left everyone elated. What a fantastic dining experience.

Kwizeen did the bar and BBQ catering for my 50th Birthday in a marquee in Holcombe village, near Bury. We had just short of 200 guests and at around 7pm the heavens opened in a downpour on a biblical scale keeping this up for next few hours. Despite this, the food served and service were absolutely first rate.
Marco, Tony and their staff maintained good humour and professionalism throughout. It was a long day with much food and drink being consumed with nothing but compliments from all our guests.

Marco from our very first meeting we had you did say that you will make the evening special with your food and service and you, Tony, Catalina and the rest of your staff certainly delivered on every part. We could not believe that you even stayed as late as you did cleaning up after us to keep everything perfect when our party just kept on going. The first time we met Catalina we commented what a lovely, bubbly, very hard working and exceptional smart appearance she had so just perfect serving behind the bar and helping the rest of the staff.
The whole experience of using you for catering was exceptional with Marco chef managing the kitchen preparing the scrummy food, Tony managing the bar and keeping up with all our guests drink and food and Catalina front of house your team works perfectly. We would also like to thank the rest of your staff who waited on our guests all evening. It was lovely to have a party at home and be able to fully enjoy the whole experience without lifting a finger thanks to Kwizeen. It is hard to put the experience into just a few words, but Fantastic!

Steven and I would like to give you a massive thanks for all the hard work you did on our wedding day. The food was amazing and everybody commented on how it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. The day went off without a hitch and that was because of your teams’ hard work. You did more than just the food on the day, you changed the venue around from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast and put out and dressed the wedding cake. Catalina was amazing at organise the team and getting everything on the tables to look perfect, from the cutlery to the centrepieces and the added extras we put on last minute. Everyone commented on how amazing the tables looked and that was because of her hard work in organising the team.
When we sat down for the wedding breakfast and the food came out, it was like watching a military operation the way the staff walked all in a perfect line with their White Jackets on and placed the food down at once. It is things like that that take it from a standard wedding service to knowing you have the best in the business. The food was presented on the plates beautifully and tasted amazing. Marco did a fantastic job of preparing the food and making sure it looked its best on the plates.
Tony and Becky made sure everyone’s glass was kept topped up, from the drinks after the ceremony, the wine on the tables and the Champagne for the toast. They worked the room making sure there was never a dry glass in the house.
Our day was made so special by the hard work and effort Kwizeen did from start to finish, from the first tasting to the night time buffet of Hogs. They went above and beyond what was expected of them, the food is not just their priority the whole day for the Bride and Groom is important to them. This is what makes them the best at what they do, no matter what you ask of them they will work as hard as they can to provide you with what you want. The food and drink is as important on a wedding day as it is one of the biggest parts and they truly know this which is why they are the best and no one else compares!!!

We used Kwizeen to cater for our daughter’s 1st birthday & baptism in March 2015. Marco was a pleasure to deal with from the offset, arranging to meet us to discuss menus at our convenience. 30th Birthday Celebrations
We recently used Kwizeen Outside catering for our daughter’s 30th birthday.
From start to finish they were outstanding….going beyond our expectations at every stage. During the planning phase, Marco and Tony gave very good advice on organisation based on their experiences of big house parties, ranging from where to position the bar and how to avoid having too many chairs, if any at all, to encourage mingling and dancing!
When the menus for hot and cold canapés and a range of miniature desserts arrived we were spoilt for choice but eventually selected our favourites from the vast array of options. We were absolutely delighted with the quality of the food on the night. As well as being something special for this occasion it was all beautifully cooked, expertly presented and then served by Tony himself to our guests. The food just seemed to keep coming until we had our fill and everyone commented on how good it all tasted and how special the service was. Worth particular mention was Marco’s son, Marcus, who worked tirelessly in the kitchen all night and his beautiful fruit kebabs were a sight and taste to behold. All in all Kwizeen did us proud and we would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again in the future…thanks to you all for helping to make Aly’s night so memorable!

Marcos, Catalina, Tony and you were reassuringly “around” in the few days leading up to our event – ensuring all equipment and resources were in place and providing us with the confidence that you would cope with the predicted storms.
We went to our daughter’s church wedding with total confidence that when we returned to our marquee the guests would be welcomed by your superbly dressed team and the catering would be perfect. It was perfect! The canapes were delicious and prolific and then the sit down meal for 100 people was superb. The plated trio of deserts was a crowning glory – so many guests were so complimentary about the quality and quantity.
Catalina ensured the bride and grooms’ wishes were perfectly executed – in a very effective, efficient but friendly way. She managed her team beautifully – the guests were all so impressed by the little touches, such as all people on each table being served at exactly the same time, requests for extra water, wine etc promptly carried out with grace and we appreciated the occasional contact to check that everything was going as we wished.
I anticipated that once the bar closed, you would leave and come to tidy up in the morning – but was so impressed that you and your key team stayed around, in the background, collecting up abandoned glasses from the garden and the marquee and then, when the last guest had gone in the early hours of the morning, tidying up and securing the venue.
A wedding at home could have been so stressful for me in particular – the stress of having to be a hostess clashing with the wish to relax and enjoy being the mother of the bride – but you, your team and your superb catering enabled me to sit back and really enjoy one of the most important and enjoyable events of our lives in total confidence. When we were planning a family celebration involving 60 guests we found Kwizeen by Googling and we soon decided they offered the best at a fair and reasonable price.
Never having dealt with them before, nor having ever eaten at their restaurant in Blackpool, I followed up a reference which had been supplied to me and was happy with what that previous client had to say about them.
Marco’s excellent service and attention to detail began when he came round to see us and we sat around a table discussing our requirements.
A detailed email arrived shortly after confirming all we had talked about with a clear breakdown of costs.

Kwizeen Testimonial: Easter Party for 40 in 2014.
Our Easter party was a get-together for 40 friends and family – we were not celebrating any special occasion, but we wanted to have some good food with little effort on our part – so Kwizeen sprang to mind!
We discussed various options with Marco and he came up with lots of ideas, then he waited patiently whilst we decided what we wanted to do. Eventually we agreed on a cold buffet and desserts which could be set up in advance of the party. All the details of the food were agreed and documented by email.
On the day, Marco and Tony arrived punctually and unloaded, unloaded, unloaded. There seemed to be a lot of food, but when it was set up it looked a picture: a full salmon with cucumber “scales”, a mound of prawns, heaps of cooked meats, mini pies, baked ham, salamis… salads… It was a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds.
Needless to say the food helped the party to be a big success. The oohs and aaahs said it all as the salmon and meats disappeared, the mini pies gradually decreased and then the mini crème brulee went in a trice! We were free to enjoy our event without worrying about whether the food was ok, and the final best bit – all the dirty plates and cutlery were just stacked in crates ready for Marco to collect the next day! What a relief not to have to do the washing up for 40 people.

40th Birthday Party @ Great Mains Hall “House”
Can I say what a fantastic weekend we all had for my husband’s 40th birthday celebrations. We all stayed at Mains Hall Manor house in Poulton Le Fylde for a weekend. Marco from Kwizeen restaurant came to the house and made and served amazing canapés for 30 of our guests. Tony was happy to serve drinks all evening from his set up bar area which included smoking cocktails (Dry Ice) etc. FANTASTIC! Then the next morning Marco and Tony where back to serve all fourteen guests an amazing full English breakfast, they even set the table and provided all cutlery and crockery AMAZING.
To finish our weekend off, Kwizeen then returned to the house and made a fantastic three course meal for us all and even poured all of the wine. We did not lift a finger during our stay at this amazing house. We will return for another stay and would recommend Kwizeen to everyone. I picked Marco because he was as interested in a small party as he is in catering for large functions. Thanks guysSUPERB!!!!!! Diamond Wedding Anniversary
We first experienced Kwizeen two years ago when they presented a marvellous lunch for a friend’s birthday and then more recently at a neighbours special celebratory event. So when it came to planning for our Diamond Wedding celebration we had no hesitation and every confidence in approaching Marco to look after us. It could not have been a better choice. We were planning two separate parties. Firstly at the end of August a garden party for our immediate four generation family of 27 in total. Then later in November a Sunday lunch at home for 17 guests.
From the first phone call to the last unobtrusive clear-up nothing was any trouble to Marco – various dietary requirements, changing numbers, changing times, all smoothly accommodated. 50th Birthday Party@Poulton Cricket Club
I contacted Kwizeen as I had seen their outside catering van at the venue I was holding my 50th, I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Marco advised that canapes are a popular option and we went for a tasting session at the restaurant. The whole evening was an absolute success, my guests were completely overawed by the fish and chips, chicken tikka baskets and the prawns in parmesan baskets (these were just a few).
Then the sweets came out, I have never heard so many ooh’s and aah’s but that wasn’t it, then the pineapple with fruit skewers was produced followed by mini ice-creams in brandy snap cones. I think most of the guests rolled home that night!!. I would also like to thank Tony and his team who were professional and engaging and encouraged my guests to try things they were not sure about. Guests who attend the party are still talking about how good the food and the service was, I will definitely use Marco and his team again.

Bitesize takes on classic food went down a storm- mini fish and chips and roast beef and Yorkshire pudding were a dream. All were served piping hot fresh from the ovens. All the food was excellently prepared with customer service panache. Food kept coming and coming..Kwizeen were keen to ensure everyone had enough and I had to stop them from cooking, as all the guests were full to bursting – I am sure they would’ve happily carried on serving for hours if I would’ve let them.

We have truly not got a bad word to say about Kwizeen. Marco and his team of wonderful staff have been so helpful from start to finish.
The very first time we enquired about Kwizeen, Marco did not disappoint, he listened to our (very vague) ideas and with his knowledge and experience turned these ideas into a wonderful menu, with canapés, a main and a trio of deserts.

The organisation of the team on the day, meant that everything ran smoothly without a hitch, everything was the correct temperature and on time, with the food easily became a talking point of our special day. The main of pies and mash was fantastic, just how we wanted it. Choosing Kwizeen for our son’s wedding was a great decision. Communication, attention to detail and flexibility from Marco and his team was exceptional. Marco and his team at Kwizeen were recommended to us on a few occasions by different people when we were planning our wedding so it was only fair that we arranged to meet him….after our first meeting with Marco we couldn’t possibly consider anyone else and nor shall we do in the future! He was professional, polite, passionate and above all patient especially over our complete change in menu and our disagreements between pie and mash and an afternoon tea. On top of this he gave us a mini meringue topped with popping candy on so of course the deal was done.
We had meetings at Kwizeen, he came to our home, there were many emails and phone calls back and forth in which he always listened and offered his ideas and answered all of our questions (and there were many). Then we had the most wonderful tasting evening in the restaurant and designed our perfect menu together with him and awaited our handmade peanut butter cheesecakes which were incredible! Marco stayed in touch at every point and if anything stood out in particular it was his understanding that the wedding was our day. This, coupled with the care he showed to make everything just how we imagined it really gave us a catering experience that was second to none. From how the food would be set out on the plate, to finding the sugar cubes and of course our individual table settings – Marco and his team placed a chocolate silver sixpence in 75 teacups and tucked notes in between each teacup and saucer following our instructions and drawings. Throughout planning the wedding we didn’t meet anyone else who placed such importance on the little things as we did. Which for us was simply amazing. It goes without saying that the food was absolutely outstanding and the service of his team was faultless.
The Canapés, the Afternoon Tea and the evening Hog Roast truly delighted our guests. Actually we were so disappointed with the fact that we struggled to eat all the lovely things on our actual wedding day we requested an afternoon tea for two a few weeks later. The ovens in the kitchen on north pier broke in the evening, not that anyone would have noticed. Marco came to us immediately, explained that they were going to take the food to Kwizeen to cook it and that the delay would be no more than half an hour. It was dealt with so swiftly and professionally it didn’t make an ounce of difference. We honestly cannot praise Marco, Tony and his team enough nothing was ever too much for them. We got a personal, professional, perfect experience and in future we won’t be going anywhere else for our catering requirements whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, christening or just a family treat. Finally we’d like to personally thank Marco and his team AGAIN for playing such a big part in the best day of our lives, here’s to many more.

25th Wedding Anniversary

It is just three weeks ago since we had a family gathering, and for the first time, (there would be thirty-five of us) I decided to use outside catering, and was unsure where to begin. I found Kwizeen’s web page and read about Marco. When I saw he had trained under John Tovey at Miller Howe I was impressed. I spoke of Kwizeen to a friend who gave a good recommendation, and I called in at his restaurant. His friendly approach made it easy to discuss menus, and the meal was tailor-made to my choice. After eating a sample Crème Brulee, my mind was made up.
On the day of the party everything went perfectly, my guests were most impressed. The friendly and efficient service offered by Marco and Tony was absolutely first class, . The food was modern and beautifully presented. All I had to do was to enjoy the company of my guests and the fine food.

Right from the moment we met Marco and discussed our ideas we were very impressed with his attentiveness and enthusiasm for creating a menu that we would be really happy with, as it wasn’t the run of the mill wedding! Communication with Marco was very professional and consistent, but personable at the same time; i.e. the personalised dessert surprise, the home visits. He suggested some really good ideas that were fitting for the venue and the theme we were looking for. He offered great ideas and advice on what would work and what wouldn’t. Not only from the point of view of the menu, but how the food would be served, how it would look on the plate, what cutlery to use etc.
Once we were happy with the menu, Marco organised a tasting at Kwizeen, where he had prepared everything that would be served on the day, he explained how everything had been cooked and offered suggestions of things we might want to change or other ideas that would fit the menu.
Marco was in touch with us right through to the wedding day itself, ensuring that we were updated with progress, further suggestions we might want to consider. Marco helped with the table decorations, not really in his remit but absolutely displayed a customer service ethic that we were both really impressed with.
The venue itself was a work in progress and wasn’t finally completed until a couple of weeks before the wedding day. This could have been a major obstacle for other caterers, but Marco took it in his stride, ensuring he had all the equipment he needed and that everything was logistically sound on the day. Marco instilled trust in us, we felt confident that he could pull our big day off no matter what we threw at him!
On the day Marco and his staff served the most amazing food, all freshly cooked, and served with a smile, Marcos staffs are a credit to him. The guests were amazed at the variety and quality of the food, we had some really good feedback from the guests on the food. From the canapés to the sweet. As with all weddings, timings do sometimes slip. No problem for Marco and his team, they adapted and carried on as professionally as ever.
We spoke to the venue owners after soon after the wedding and they were really impressed on how clean and tidy Marco and his team had left the facilities and the kitchen. Again testament to their professionalism.
I can t recommend Marco enough, I know that whenever we have another function where we need a caterer Marco will be the first person we call.
Marco went above and beyond his remit, a truly lovely, genuine man. Thankyou.

40th Birthday Party
Many thanks to Marco, Tony and their team for helping to make my birthday party at home such a success. Kwizeen came recommended to me via a friend and I have to say that I will be forwarding the recommendation on to other friends of mine.
All of my guests remarked on the standard of the canapés and the excellent service with a smile from the staff. They did a very good job of remembering my guest’s favourite canapés and drinks when serving throughout the evening, which was commented on by a number of people post party. This goes to show the attention was given to guests from the staff which enabled my husband and me to socialise and enjoy the evening knowing everyone was taken care of. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I didn’t even have to wash up at the end of the night!!!
The evening was far more enjoyable having Kwizeen here to take care of everything.
Marco, Tony and the team are very friendly and professional. I particularly liked that fact that Marco came to see me and the venue before the party so that he knew exactly how they were going to work things on the evening .It was a good job he did as unfortunately it rained all day therefore we had to go to “plan B ”

Our Marquee Wedding
I’d just like to say a huge thank you to you both for a splendid and super wedding day.
The Canapé’s were WORLD class – followed by the main wedding breakfast which was just perfection.
I loved the way you both were there at the planning stage, giving advice and sourcing further items we needed for the day. The tasting that we attended. It wasn’t just here is a sample, it was a full run through of what we had chosen. Then to top it off, we changed something and….you cooked it again.
The marquee looked fabulous after you had laid all the tables. The cutlery and you hold is beautiful – plus the Villeroy and Boch wine glasses were just stunning. The whole event just boasted elegance and prestige, in my mind this is what Kwizeen represents.
Everyone who attended has mentioned the food and service. One comment from a guest was “no job was too small for the Kwizeen guys”. This was so true, We had to collapse some tables for the evening reception to start, one word to Tony….it was done.
Kwizeen also provided the evening food – I mentioned to you I’d toyed with the idea of a hog roast – needless to say Marco had the Kwizeen twist and supplied three boned and rolled pigs laid out in the marquee. Needless to say the guests have since told us it was moist, tasty and a feature for the eye – and a second visit!
Just to put into perspective how professional Kwizeen are – we had a slight power problem in the marquee while my wife and I were at the church – down from 4 ovens to 2 – what did Marco at Kwizeen do – DELIVERED – on time, perfectly cooked. I however had no idea and wasn’t told till the next day.
I could not recommend a more professional, courteous and thoughtful caterer for anybody’s wedding, birthday or any party for that matter. I know that when I think of catering in the future, all I will think of is the number for Kwizeen.

We selected Kwizeen to cater at our home for our daughter’s 30th birthday party with about 40 guests of all ages attending. Having never had catering before we spoke to several companies and decided upon Marco principally because he offered the best range of canapes and meals for the lowest price.
However that is just the start. He very quickly understood our needs as he got to know us as a family and gave suggestions we would never have thought of (bar, barman, cocktails etc) Up to the event he was very supportive and put us under no pressure to confirm numbers(given the event was 17th December with people travelling from Saudi Arabia, Germany, Hampshire and Yorkshire this was really helpful) Menus were decided upon with no fuss, On the day Marco’s team all arrived and set up as agreed. I would like to thank you for your wonderful barbeque at my 60th birthday gathering. It was perfect and meant that we could all enjoy each other’s company without worrying about a thing!
In spite of the rain you provided us with a feast of savoury delights from the grill and a mouthwatering selection of bitesized desserts which were irresistable! We weren’t rushed in any way and the fact that you provided all the crockery & cutlery meant we could continue the evening in the knowledge that everything had been taken care of! Perfect!

Wedding

We booked Kwizeen to cater for our five-day NHS Training course
The staff at Kwizeen were very helpful in organising the catering, from food to plates to serving and clearing. They always arrived promptly and we never felt rushed.
The food that was served was excellent in quality, quantity and variety over the five days. Many of the course participants commented favourably upon the lunches provided. One participant score 12 out of 10, another A+++; most scored 8, 9, or 10 out of 10.
